The Palace Drum Clinic has launched a brand new drumming event. The Palace Drum Camp is a 3 day non-residential drumming event over the weekend of Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd February held in the home town of John Bonham, Redditch.

The Palace Drum Camp is open to all abilities, backgrounds and is suitable for ages 14 and up.

The opportunity for a one-to-one with a tutor

Over the weekend, each student will receive classes with all the tutors on different aspects of drumming. These classes will be broken down into smaller groups for a more intimate learning environment. Each student will receive around 14 hours of tuition and 4 hours of masterclasses over the course of PDCamp. There will also be an opportunity to have a one-to-one with a tutor. How much?

There are two pricing options available to suit all needs:

These costs include all classes and a buffet lunch on the Saturday and Sunday. Hot Drinks, refreshments and snacks will be available throughout the PDCamp.

The price does not include accommodation but we can recommend convenient hotels/B&Bs on request.

Breaking the price down, the calibre of tutors on hand at PDCamp can usually charge in the region of £50/60 upwards. Our hourly rate works out at £25 and you get 5 tutors and more.

A £50 minimum deposit** will be needed to book your place. The balance can be paid in instalments or in full.***

What you need

You will need a drum stool, a pair of sticks and a pair of brushes. We suggest a pencil and notepad as well, there will be a lot of information over the weekend and you’ll want to remember everything!
