Remo Drum Tuning Workshop and Masterclass

Jeff Davenport is a UK based professional drummer and is currently a Demonstrator for Remo Drumheads.
From working his way up from roadie, to drum tech and then educator, Jeff has also been a rep for Sonor Drums and helped manage clinic events for famous drummers.

What can we expect from the Masterclass?

The Remo session is open to all musicians and production technicians alike. It starts with open questions around the group and then a request for specific ideas on: "What do you need to know about drum tuning?". As we go around the group, we cover issues that bother people and irritate them regarding tuning, also going into some complex issues that they can’t get to the bottom of. We then look at the variables of drum tuning, which I will explain one by one with demonstrations, so getting a clearer understanding and confident outlook on tuning drums.
Ultimately the aim is to also help people achieve their own signature sound, which is very easy using Remo Drumheads as the entire catalogue is artist inspired.
