Sticky Wicket has been working over the last 40 years in professional, touring bands and recording studios playing many various styles of music. He has worked with some notable musicians including Van Morrisson, Jools Holland, Paul Jones, Rory Gallagher, Roger Daltrey, Bryan Ferry, Brian May, Leo Sayer, Joe Cocker, Chris Farlowe, Kenny Ball, Acker Bilk, Chas & Dave. He is best known for fronting the Sticky Wicket and his Swing Orchestra.

Over these years, Sticky has assembled a collection of American & British Vintage Drum Sets from the 1900’ to 1980. His drums have been featured in Rhythm magazine and in a recent London Jazz Exhibition. From all his manys years of experience playing various styles of drumming, from New Orleans to Heavy Rock, together with my Classic Drum Collection for the the benefit of young & future drummers to understand about the heritage of their instrument plus how earlier styles of drumming have helped to shape their own playing.

Matt is one of the UK's most versatile percussionist. He has emerged himself in all aspects of percussion and plays all range of music, from Baroque to Rock. Matthew often performs as a guest soloist with different groups, premier Big Bands and Jazz ensembles in and around the Midlands/London and in the studio recording for rock/pop artists. Matthew’s passion for world music which has lead him to work with such artists as Ravi Shankar, collaborating between Eastern and Western musicians, UK’s leading nasheed group SHAAM and on the west coast of Ireland's folk scene. Matt's very popular workshops/clinics are both educational and inspiring.
